المستخلص The aim of study is testing the effectiveness of the integrative counseling program for reducing Depression Symptoms Underachievers Students in Preparatory Stage. The sample of the study consisted of (20) underachievers students from 2nd year Preparatory School. Study Tools: 1-Depression scale for children ( prepared by Ghareeb Abdel Fatah ) 2-Mental Ability test ( prepared by farouk Abdel Fatah ) 3-The Integrative Counseling Program by the researcher Statistical Techniques: 1- Standard scores , means and standard deviations 2- Friedman test 3- Wilcoxon test Study results: 1. There are significant statistical differences between the means Rank of the experimental groups in The three measurements (pre-post-follow up) in Depression Symptoms. 2. There are significant statistical differences between the means Rank of the experimental groups in The measurements (pre-post) in Academic Achievement. This determines the effectiveness of integrative Counseling program to reduce depressive symptoms and improve academic achievement for underachievers of the prep school students. |
