Abstract
Multi-organ dysfunction syndrome is the most common and most dangerous disease facing physicians in ICU. The physician facing multi-organ dysfunction syndrome must know the pathophysiology of syndrome, clinical manifestation of syndrome and good evaluate his patient by history, examination and investigations. The physician, also must know the scoring systems used for diagnosed the degree of the disease like MODS, LODS and SOFA score and must know advantages and disadvantages of each score and which one mora accurate than others. Assessment of organs function is very important in this syndrome as this syndrome almost affect all organs so we must know if organ functioning well or not As the multi-organ dysfunction syndrome is a common problem many national societies published Different algorithms dealing with management of this syndrome.
