Aims Of Research: The study was attempted to achieve the following objectives: 1. To identify the meaning of quality and educational accreditation in general education and international schools . 2. Present the international standards of quality assurance and accreditation in international schools. 3. Present exemplar significant models (Arab and foreign alike) of accredited international schools. 4. Identify the requirements of applying international standards of quality assurance and educational accreditation to general secondary education in Egypt? 5. Attempt a proposed model for preparing general education schools in Egypt for educational accreditation in light of international standards of quality in international schools. Results of study: The study yielded the following results: 1. Establishing national committees for constructing accreditation standards for general education institutions in Egypt in light of the international standards. 2. Establishing a committee – endorsed by international accrediting agencies – for continuous training in the area of school accreditation. 3. Discussing the international standards and indicators of quality assurance and accreditation and creating a mechanism for achieving the system goals. 4. Creating a mechanism for activating international relationships and exchange of expertise in the field of quality assurance and accreditation. 5. Developing administrative protocols and regulations in a way that would allow more flexibility in implementing procedures of accreditation
