Reproductive health and environmental pollution have lately been looked upon as some of the most important issues. That’s because industrial pollution in the environment of work (inside units of production) is dangerous to human resources. This is due to exposing workers to a lot of dangerous pollutants; the matter which may result in serious threats to their health. Industrial pollutants are among the most dangerous pollutants to human health as they contain several chemical elements which directly affect the body tissues and organs resulting in many acute and chronic diseases. The danger of such elements depends on their kind and the periods of being exposed to them. It also depends on the ration of such elements and their chemical and physical properties, in addition to the way they penetrate human bodies. This research consists of two chapters: Chapter one: Industrial pollution and its effect on reproductive health: This chapter deals with five points; the first part of which is concerned with the theoretical framework and the study conceptions. Then it demonstrates the previous studies concerned with the topic in addition to explaining the positive and negative roles of industrial development and industrial pollution and its effect on reproductive health. Finally, the chapter is concluded by demonstrating the industrial revolution and women’s employment from the prospective of the emergence of industry in its development all over the world in general and in developing countries, in particular. In addition, it demonstrates the emergence of industrial projects in Egypt and the historical evolution of women’s employment and the position of women in the field of work in addition to the main and sub- points relevant to this chapter. Chapter two: Field study and quantitative analysis: This chapter consists of three parts. It deals with the field study executed by using questionnaires and interviews. It also deals with the empirical study executed by using data statistical analysis, in addition to discussing the results of the study in the light of its goals and its theoretical and methodological frameworks.
