Abstract Within the limitations of this clinical and in-vitro study the following conclusions can be drawn: 1- There was no difference in plaque index and peri-implant mucosal health using a straight or an angled abutment in the anterior maxilla. 2- By radiographic evaluation of marginal bone level around the implant, cases with angled abutment had higher values of marginal bone resorption than the cases with straight abutment. 3- The differences in fracture load between dental implant with angled (15°&25°) and straight abutments restored with full metal crowns were not significantly different. |
