Abstract
The surgical treatment of recurrent inguinal hernias continues to undergo technical modifications and the introduction of minimally invasive surgery added a new possible dimension.Understanding of the causes of inguinal hernia recurrence is an essential point in managing the problem and based on this,the recurrence can be classified into early recurrence as a result of failure on the part of the surgeon and late recurrence caused by tissue failure.
