Bacterial examination of conjunctival swabs of 20 normal cases led to the isolation of staph. albus in 30% of cases, . diphtheroids in 15% and commensal neisseria in 10%. Meanwhile .mixed cultures were detected in 20% and sterile cultures were seen in 25% of examined samples. |
