Abstract Our study is a retrospective study included 169 , (7 1 Male and 98 female) patients with liver metastases that fulfilling the clinicoepedemiology of all patient with liver metastases who reffered to Radiation Oncology unit, Radiology Department, Tanta University hospital, during the period between January 1989 to December 1992 , to receive their treatment .The aim of this work is to evaluate the relative frequency of liver metastases in different body tumors presonted to us in the mentioned period and to evaluate the role of radiation therapy and or chemotherapy with stimation of response to differnt treatment modalities.152 patient recived treatment, 39 patients recived chemotherapy alone, 70 patient vecived radiotherapy alone and 43 patients received combiened radiotheropy and chemotherapy. 17 patient are execluded as they discontinued management or treeated fom other metastatic sites . All cases were studied to evaluate treatment response rate in different treatment modalities. |
