Abstract
The aim of the work represented a trial to find out anatural therapeutic agent or agents from the chrysanthemum anethifolium (Brous) the plant material was extracted using different solvent systems to obtain six extracts. Extracts were evaluated for being antiplaque, anti - inflammatory and local anaesthetic agents.1- All extracts showed - varying degrees of antiplaque. anti 2- Extracts obtained from the fresh forms of the plant showed more powerful antiplaque and anti -inflammatory properties as compared to the corresponding dried forms I 3- Extracts obtained from the dried forms of the plant showed more powerful local anaesthetic property as compared to the corresponding fresh forms.
