Abstract The present study was undertaken in the apiary of the faculty of agriculture at Kafr El-Sheikh, to obtain some information on the effect of climatological factors on honeybee activities such as, brood rearing, foraging, nectar and pollen gathering as related to changes in colony weight and thermoregulation within the hive. Twenty four and eighteen colonies were used in the first and second seasom, respectively. Golonies were divided into three groups and kept in either shaded, semi-shaded or un-shaded places. |
