Abstract
This work was carried out in the farm of Faculty of agriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh, during the summer season of 1976 and 1977. This work aimed to study the most favourable time for transplanting tomato plants (:Prichard var.) in the swm.er season, and to find out the best plant spacing for transplanting dates, February 20, March 15, April 15, and ~ay 15 were inclUded. The spacings of JO, 40, and 50 cm were used between plants within uniform ridges, 100 cm apart .
