Finally, a correlation and regression analysis is made in chapter two to estimate the statistical relationships between the economic surplus as a performance efficiency measure and financial and human resources available for the local cooperatives in the study zones. Results of this analysis helps the analyst, as well as the policy makers in identifying the socio - economic determinates of the cooperative performance efficiency.
