Abstract
This work was carried out during the 1974, 1975 ,1976 and 1977 seasons on 18 years old Washington Navel and 12 years old Valencia oranges grown in the Agraian Reform Orchards at shino, kafr el-sheikh province.The purpose of this work was to the effect of (2.5 ,3.75 or 5.0 kg./tree) and rate (oneor tow applications) of ammonium sulphate application to Washington Navel and Valencia orange trees on their yield ,tree growth , fruit physical and chemical characters.
