The main t a r g e t of the study is t o evaluate the extension f i e l d s of the hproved r i c e v a r i e t i e s 5.n some v i l l a g e s , Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. For t h i s purpose, the researcher prepared a quiestionnair t o interview 290 farmers (135 farms i n the experimental sample, and 155 farmers in the controlled sample). The data was tabulated and prepared f o r computation using the reasonable s t a t i s t i c a l methods such a s Chisquare, t t e s t , simple c o r r e l a t i o n , p a r t i a l reg~ession, and standardised p a r t i a l regression. F i r s t l y : The person; , socia1,and economical c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s of the farmers i n the sample: It was noticed that 49% of the farmers are aged of 49 and l e s s , and t h a t 66.6% of the families are of 7 persons and l e s s , and 77% of such families are simple 94% of them works in a g r i c u l t u r e and 66% of them are i l l e t r a t e s , and 43% are highly educated the r a t i o of families who own 1-7 feddans reached 61%, 90% own t h e i r farms, and 62% have reasonable and big farms. It was also found t h a t 68% of the sample havlng high living stendard; 56.3% having low social p a r t i c i p a t i o n s 69% having moderate cosmobility attitudes, 9% having moderate ccd high leedership a t t i t u d e s , 815 having noderate and high inclinsjt ions towards fem riiechanizetion.
