Abstract
The present work was carried out at Sakha Agricult ural Research Station, during the four successive growing seasons 1984/1987 in order to study the extent of variability that e xists in grain and morphological chara cteristics of red rice , possibility of natural crossing 1 between red rice and the commercial cultivars , and the effect of moisture content at the time of harvest on seed yield and seedling vigor.
