Abstract
Our study included 40 cases, 10 cases as a control while 30 cases of hypertension of different types these cases were subjected to throu.gh clinical examination and investigation by taking blood samples to perform complete blood picture , blood urea, serum creatinine fasting and post prondial blood sugar. also all these cases were subjected to ophthalmological exanlination by indirect opthalmoscope , taking picture by the fundus camera before and after labour. We found that the changes in the fundus oculi varies according to the type of the hypertension itself where they are in the form of spasm in pure PIH but sclerosis in chronic nephritis end essential hypertension, Retinitis also complicate cases. of PIH md chronic nephritis.
