Abstract In . view of the increased risk of coronary artery disease in population, there are many attempts to predict and diagnose the coronary lesion. The aim of our study was to predict the presence of coronary artery disease by transesophageal echocardiographic detection of the thoracic aortic plaque and duplex detection of carotid and femoral plaques. Our study population included 80 patients who referred to our cardiology department, Tanta University Hospital, they were divided into 2 groups according to the presence or absence of significant coronary artery lesions according to the results of coronary angiography. |
