Abstract Liver involvement in rheumatoid arthritis is not uncommon.Abnormalities of liver function tests have been reported in a variable but surprisingly large proportion of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The present work was conducted to perform biochemical hepatic investigations in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, to throw more light on the extent of hepatic involvement in such disease.This study was carried out on thirty patients with rheumatoid Arthritis (twenty females and ten males), as well as fifteen subjects (ten females and five males) as a reference group. |
