Abstract Detrusor hyperreflexia constitutes one of the main cause of incontinence in neurogenic bladder specially in chronic traumatic spinal cord lesion with its deleterious effects either physical as wetting of the patients and the high pressure inside the bladder causes deterioration of the upper urinary tract or psychological problem. Many trials was done to treat this problem. Our aim is to keep the patients dry and decrease the high intravesical pressure so we use intravesical capsiacin as a method of treatment of detrusor hyperreflexia. We undergo this study on 10 patients in Tanka University Hospital and the range of age from 18- 15 y, period of trauma range from (1.5 to 10 years) , the level of lesion varies from (C4-T2) and the lesion is complete. |
