Abstract
The association of childhood chronic liver disease with variable degrees of short stature is a common clinical observation. However, the hormonal aspects of this short stature needed further investigation.. The present work aims at estimation of serum somatomedin-C (SM-C) levels in 2 dwarfed children with chronic liver disease as well as their response to exogenous hGH administration.
