Abstract
The p r e s e n t work was a t r i a l t o study t h e r o l e of radiology in clerifying t h e p a t h o l o g i c a l changes as a r e s u l t o f s c h i s t o s o m i a s i s a f f e c t i n g t h e U r i n a r y s y s t e m and t h e l a r g e i n t e s t i n e , with its subsequent complications. The demonstration of. such pathology w a s c a r r i e d by conventiona. 1 as w e l l as r e c e n t t e c h n i q u e s , mainly u l t r a s o u n d and c omp u t e r i s e d to~ography. The r a d i o l o g i c a l anatomy, physiology and methods of r a d i o l o g i c a l examination of t h e u r i n a r y t r a c t and colon were mention, with d e s c r i p t i o n of patho-radiology o f u r i n a r y & i n t e s t i n a l s c h i s t o s o m i a s i s .
