Abstract
The present study aimed at evaluation of Caesium ,.. and Radium intracavitary application in the treatment of cases with carcinoma of the uterine cervix, as well as discussion of the afterloading technique for application of both treatment modality. The study included twenty consecutive patients with carcinoma of the cervix uteri. Casea were clinically staged according to the FIG0 system of staging classification. Stage IIa: 4 cases, Stage 1111: 6 cases, Stage IIIh: 4 cases and stage IIIb: 6 cases,. All the patients were subjected to complete clinical, laboratory and radiological examination.
