Abstract

present i n v e s t i g a t i o n attemps to study the distribution, incidence of i n f e c t i o n and other systematic aspects to sone endoparasites In some ~ggptian wild birds, mcinly f r o n Ghcarbia Governorate (~anta), md one species fron Giza Governorate (~bo-~awash,) Phe investigated birds were 9x0 from 13 d i f f e r e n t species r e l a t e d t o 8 d i f f e r e n t Orders d i f f e r i n g -’Q thgir type of food, h a b i t a t , habits and other parame terse The exa~inati~ofn t h e d i f f erent p a r a s i t e s depend s on staining the whole mount of the worm by tl~e car d - n e s t a i n s , nour?ted i n canada balsam, and dsavring by Canera &ucida, The i d e n t i f i c a t i o n at the l e v e l of the geHus were nade by the aid of the series of YAMAGUTI , (195.9) . The node of ’ lLt.bo - infections were studied and discussed, as f o:.:Low : a) The incidence of i n f e c t i o n by the d i f f e r e n t helminthes, have been sllov~n t h a t the type of food and h a b i t a t are f a c t o r s i n deterning the types of the paasi t i c group 4 (~renatode-Cestcde - Nematode or ~canthocephala) : ’ 1, The grain feeding birds and the insectivorous birds were mainly infected by cestodes ( p a i n f eedinz birds are i n d i r e c t l y insectivorous b i r d s ) , 2.
