Abstract
the studying of the effect of two growth regulators (gibberellic acid = GA and indole-3-acetic acid = IAA) o r a combination 3 of both and an inhibitor (N1-hydroxyurea = HU) on the growth and development of -Beta vulgaris L. (sugar beet) and Brassica rapa L. (turnip). The effect of l i g h t and dark on the germination w a s also studied, The effect on growth by such growth accelerators or inhibitors may studied i n the direction of a veriety of metabolic processes including synthesis of nucleic acids, proteins, photosynthetic pigments and carbohydrates, as well as the change i n some nucleases a c t i v i t i e s . Several growth variations were calculated during germination stage, vegetative stage and a t the flowering stage. ’These varaitions a r e e i t h e r
