Abstract The effect of external magnetic f i e l d on the nonlinear interaction of S--polarized electromagnetic radiation incident on S-polarized surface wave in a plasma layer was studied analytically. We have calculated the amplitudes, currents and fields of generated waves at c ombinatf on frequencies. The generated waves are of P-polarization. The same problem, i s alsa investigated, but the interacting waves are of P-polarization. Unlike the S-polarf zed interacting waves, the magnetic field a f f e c t t h e fundament a1 waves and leads t o an amplification of generated waves when their frequencies near the electron cyclotron frequency. Besides, investigation is made for nonlinear interaction of S-polarized electromagnetic waves incident on r e l a t i - v i s t i c anisotropic plasma layer. Two cases are considered, isotropic and magnetized plasma. Density, currents and amplitudes of generated wave-s are calculated, where the r e l a t i v i s t i c effect in this case wil1,leads t o some amplification in generated amplitudes. |
