Abstract
Part I: A convenient route for the synthesis of new variety of pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives containing arylazo function by the reaction of 3, 5- diaminopyrazole with ketene dithioacetals. The prepared dyestuffs are established using elemental analysis, IR measurements, ’H-NMR and Mass spectra. The synthesized dyes were used In dyeing polyester and polyamide fabrics and they have a very good (4-5) to excellent (5) results toword washing, persipiration and rubbing fastness properties.
Part II: One series of azo dye systems, namely, 2[5- (aryl hydrazono)-4-oxo-4, 5-dihydro-1, 3-thiazol-2-yl]-2- (aryl hydrazono)-N-(aryl sulphonyl) acetohydrazide deriv- atives are prepared via the reaction of a solution of 2-cyano- N’-(aryl sulphonyl) acetohydrazıde and mercapto acetic acid with a solution of two equivalents of aryl diazonium salt The structure of the reaction products were established based on the elemental analysis, and spectral data (IR and ’H NMR and). The structural effects of the polyfunctionally substituted thiazole dye systems on the Intensity of colour and fastness properties of the dyed fabrics are also discussed.
