Abstract The results of this study as proposed from the beginning came in a form of an Industrial Design Sandwich course for Biomedical Engineering students, mainly reflecting the interactive relation between ID & BME fields. from one perspective, the course is intended to play a role in the clarification of that relationship, from another, it is intended to open a real opportunity for the industrial designer to find his place as a principle member in team working on medical devices. That is to say that, it is intended to clarify - from the industrial design side - the importance of the ID role as regarded to the biomedical field. Some applied ID tasks have been implemented in order to predict the achievements of implanting the ID course in the fields of BME education. |
