Abstract

(I)- Adenosine tri- phosphatase (ATPase).
* The ATPase was higher in Barki breeds compared with other breeds.
* The highly significant activity was after 3 and 24 hrs after mating in Barki.
* The enzyme activity recorded2.437, 2.124 and 3.16 pi/min/ml serum at Barki, Rahmani and Ossimi breeds respectively at the first five days after mating.
* The sheep strain of Ossimi recorded a higher level of enzyme activity at the Weeks 9.10 and 11.
* The ATPase at male sheep in Barki recorded 0.223, 0.267, 0.17 and 0.313 pi/min/ml serum at the weeks 1,2, 3 and 4 respectively.
* Ossimi individuals referred to similar level of male enzyme activity (0.235, 0.256, 0.267 and 0.257) pi/min/ml serum at the first four weeks respectively.
* The average mean of enzyme activity recorded no significant difference between breeds through the time of experiment.
(II)- Cholinesterase enzyme (ChE).
* The cholinesterase enzyme at the male sheep breeds (Barki, Ossimi and Rahmani) has the same patter, Fluctuated results were obtained (8,11,4 and 11) at the first four weeks 1,2,3 and 4 respectively.
(III) - Protein electrophoresis.
* Number of protein bands in Barki was 17 bands while in Rahmani were 15 bands but the Ossimi breed recorded 13 bands.
* There six common bands of SDS-PAGE protein between the three breeds with RF 0f 0.07, 0.38, 0.43, 0.57 and 0.68.
* The characters band of Barki, Rahmani with Rf 0.13 and 0.088 respectively.
* At the native protein, there is only one band with Rf 0.13, which is common between the three sheep breeds.
* All protein bands densities in native and fractionated protein were completely different.
(IV)- Deoxy ribo nucleic acid (DNA).
* There is no amplificant produced for the DNA at the three breeds of sheeps when the random and speacific primers were used through the PCR.
