Abstract

the thesis falls into four chapters the first chapter sheds light on some of bonds dramatic strategies as well as the semiotic devices used in his plays the second chapter focuses on bond’s saved 1965 his most famous and controversial play in the play’s most violent scene ababy is stoned to death in its pram : bond’s drastic expression of britain’s moral depravity
the third chapter deals with bond’s next playes early morning1988
the fourth chapter discusses bond’s own version of skakespear’s kigg lear what distinguishes bond’s lear1971 from shakespear’s play in the idea of action
