Abstract This work is aimed to study different effects induced in rats by exposure to azathioprine(AZA) doses as well as the protective effect of curcuma longa (CUR), ceratonia siliqua(C.S) and pelargonium graveolens (P.G) oral adiminstratios aganist AZA intoxication. 1-Determination of DNA damage (apoptotic or necrotic) and general alterations in tissue lysate. 2-Cytogenetic effects AZA induced different types of chromosomal abnormalities such as gaps. 3-Histological effects the liver of rats intoxicated with AZA showed dilated central veins and filled |
