Abstract
The most common conventional insecticides are related mainly to four groups: chlorinated hydrocarbons, organophosphorous , carbamates and pyrethroids. Most of these pesticides are high in cost, importing, hazard to man and animals and become less effective against pests as a result of building cross resistance in pests. Therefore efforts should be directed towards new groups of insecticides. Previous studies indicated that organic acid salts proved their efficiency in controlling some key pests. So this search aims at making suitable formulations of organic acid salts to apply them at field against different pests to know the pesticidal efficiency of them , so the search divided into three parts:
I- Preparation of some locally prepared surfactants and determination their physico-chemical properties.
II- Finding suitable formulation for some toxic organic acid salts.
III- Evalution of the pesticidal efficiency of the organic acid salts.
