Abstract Many forms of therapies that proved useful in the treatment of female infertility attracted attension to its probable use in male infertility. One of these drugs is bromocriptine “Parlodel” . Its therapeutic effect is based only on clinical observations. So, this work was undertaken with the aim of studying the histological and histochemical changes in the testis following the use of bromocriptine in different forms and doses as well as the reversibility of such changes after stopping of treatment The animals used were iio adult male albino rats, their weight ranged i8o to 200 gm. They were divided into main groups. Group I : (control): Composed of 30 rats was further subdivided into three subgroups Subgroup A : included 12 rats, kept without any treatment and used as control for all experimental groups. Subgroup B: included 6 rats, each was given 0.5 mi/day/rat plain olive oil for one month and served as control for oral bromocriptine treated rats. |
