Abstract Due to the abuse of antibiotics many practitioners resorted to the use ofclindamycin. Clinamycin is a chlorine-substituted derivative of lincomycin. It is antibiotic that elaborated by streptomyces lincolnensis. The aim of this work was to test the safety ofclindamycin therapy when used before puberty (childhood corresponding period). That is because the inside package leaflet stated that, the safety of usage of clindamycin during childhood period was considered to be uncertain. Liver and kidney were particularly selected to be examined because the manufacturer of the drug recommended dosing of this drug with caution in cases of severe renal diseases and or severe hepatic diseases. In this study, fifty healthy female mice aged 21 days (weaning age) were used. They were divided into three groups 1- Control grow. This group included ten mice that were injected intraperitoneally daily with 1 ml of 0.9 % normal saline. l-Experimental STOW I = EXPJ or clindamvcin treated grow: This group was composed of twenty mice that were injected intraperitoneally daily with clindamycin in a dose of 40 mg kg body weight.
