Abstract
The thyroid gland is one of the most important endocrine organs that almost all cells of the body are target sites for its hormones. Hyper and hypothyroidism are common endocrinopathies that are met with in clinical practice
The aim of this work was to study the effect of hypothyroidism induced by carbimazole on the histology and histochemistry of the suprarenal glands of adult male albino rats.
MA TERIALS & METHODS
In the present study sixty adult male albino rats were used, each weighting from 180 to 200 gm. Strict care and hygiene were observed to keep them in normal and healthy conditions.
