Abstract
Ano—rectal diseases are the most common causes of disturbances in defecation The commonest of these ano rectal diseases are haemorrhoids fissure in—ano and constipation Straining at defecation is the commonest manifestation accompaning the haemorrhoids It occured in 9O of haemorrhoidal patients, whatever the cause of this straining either band, diet or Jevator dysfunction Constipation is not a featui-e of haemorrhoids, it occured in 30-% of cases but it is considered as a .-:ymptom ut the disease arid the hd1iIoi rhoid p t.
