Abstract

LDL T has become a promising option for patients with ESLD when DDLT is not available because of donor’s shortage. In Egypt, the current status does not permit cadaveric transplants and LDL T is the only available option for patients with ESLD.
This study was among the earliest studies that targeting the very early response after the graft reperfusion period in both adult and pediatric Egyptian recipients. Previous studies were done out side EGYPT on non Egyptian personells.
Aim of the work
The aim of this work was to study the effects of graft reperfusion on the recipient’s hemodynarnics and blood gases, and to Recipients And Methods
The current study was conducted over a period of 28 months starting from 28/4/2003 to 9/8/2005 in National liver Institute -in Menofeya University. All cases ( recipients of liver transplants) received grafts from living related ”donors and were prospectively studied.
Immediately before transplantation, all investigations done during the assessment period were reviewed
All catheters and IV lines were placed in the upper extremities and neck.
