المستخلص This study was conducted at causality of Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital from September 2006 to February 2007. Hundred pregnant women fulfilled the selection criteria were divided into 2 groups. • Group I (study group): fifty pregnant women who underwent primary elective C.D. in the traditional C.D. technique at Ain Shams University without development of a bladder flap and the uterine incision was 1cm above vesicouterine peritoneal reflection. • Group II (control group): fifty pregnant women underwent primary C.D. in the same manner with development of a bladder flap. The pregnant women were followed up intra-operatively for the technique of C.D., occurrence of complications and need of blood transfusion. They were also observed post-operatively for regain of all vital activities and occurrence of complications. As regard the socio-demographic data in the current study there was no significant statistical difference between the two groups. |
