No significant correlation (P>0.05) was found between PCR results and tuberculin test in group I & II . PCR results were significantly higher (P<0.05) with ZN stain results in groups I & II . There was no significant correlation (P>0.05) was found between PCR results and culture for TB in patients with groups I&II . Based on the above results it is suggested that: PCR technique is a sensitive method for detection of tuberculosis in relation to the traditional methods.
