المستخلص
In modern times, planning problems are distinguished by complexity and entanglement of their components that it becomes necessary for planners to turn their attention to the use of non-traditional methods to resolve these problems. One of these non-traditional methods is the use of computers.
Hence, this research aims at high-lighting the importance of the use of computers throughout the urban development and planning process and the need to adapt this approach in the Egyptian city. This is due to the many advantages of computers which include high storage capacity, rapid analysis, flexibility, precision and accuracy in giving results, etc.
