The research ~iiainly aims to study tlic cxtcnsion knowlcdgc ~iccds of’ potato’s cultivators in some Districts oC Gharbia goveniorate, also study the statistical relationship between some economical, communicational, personal, social characteristics of respondents and their general knowledge level in the field of cultivating and producing potato crop, beside revealing the-important problems and difficulties-which facing-potato’s cultivators. This study has been carried out on random sample represents three districts (Kafr-El-Zayat, Tanta and El-Santa) in Gllarbia Governorate, The sarnyle has beell selected frorii the villages: (Ebiar, Ber~nas lid Meshala) which belong to these three districts, respectively. The data has been collected through interviewing 337 respondents representing 12% of the total cultivators of these villages. Frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficients, multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data statistically. The research includes five chapters, the first deals-with research problem and its importance. The second covers the review of literature. The third om includes the research n~etl~odologtyh.
