As known, climate is the most important and influent component of natural environment. Understanding the nature of climatic elements is necessary to improve the climatic architectural solutions in the design of residential buildings. The issue of the research is to investigate the compatibility of residential buildings of Sana’a city with its climatic conditions. Now many residential buildings and architectual elements, which are not adapted with the local climate, are emerged. The main aim of the research is to investigate whether the local climate is considered during the process of design or not. To achieve this objective.
