Abstract The present work was carried out to .study N - doses fertilization effect under three irrigation intervals on yld4 , nutriclits content and uptake of corn ( zea mays). The experiment was designed as split split plots in the experimental field of the Agricultural Research Station , Gimmiza , Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. Soil samples were collected at 0 - 15 , 15 - 30 and 30 - 45 cm. depths The soil samples were air -dried prepared for determining some properties : soil texture , real density , apparent density , organic matter, (CEC) and total soluble salts, ions Cat+, Mg++, Na+, K+, CO=3, HCO” 3, SCf4andCr. The experimental field was fertilized with 200kg calcium superphosphate and 100 kg potassium sulphate per/fad. The field experiment was prepared as 10 furrows per 2 kassaba. Maize grains of cultivar Giza 2 were planted in 17 May In the two seasons (1994 and 1995) and the crop was harvested after 115 days from planting. fertilization treatments : Ammonium nitrate was added as follows; control.treatment was without nitrogen ., one dose: before 1st irrigation ( 300kg /fad. ), two doses: 150 kg before 1st irrigation and 150 kg before 2nd irrigation and three doses: evryone 100 kg before 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd irrigation . |
