Abstract
The area around Bir Abu-Gawa to be dealt with in the present thesis is located in the basement complex of the central eastern desert of Egypt, topographic it covers an area about 192 km2 of the crystalline basement rocks and bounded by: longitude: 33 50 5 –33 56 30 E . latitude 26 23 5 – 26 31 30 N . this area is bounded from east by Wadi Abu Shigeili and from the west by Wadi Abu Aqarib the litho stratigraphic sequence:-
1- post-granite dykes
2- Late to post orgauic granites
3- Hammamat group
4- Dokhan volcanics
5- Synorogenic grauitoid
6- Abu ziran group
