Abstract During the present investigation, the author has studies the helminth parasites of some fish of lake Nasser at Aswan. The present work could be summerised as follows: The helminth parasites including trematodes, cestodes, nematodes and acanthocephalan were studied. Out of 4733 fish examined, 2645 (55.88%) were found infected with one or more species of parasites. However, mixed infections were freguently met with. Out of the fish examined, 403 (8.51%) were found harbouring trematode parasites, 220 (4.65%) harboured cestodes, 2256 (47.66%) harboured nematodes, 498 (10.52%) harboured acanthocep-hala. |
