Abstract Is now broadly accepted that infection with Helicobacter pylori is one of the most common chronic infections worldwide. Helicobacter pylori causes gastritis and has been aetiologically linked to peptic ulcer, gastric carcinoma, and primary gastric B-cell lymphoma.Recent published studies discuss some of the extragastric association of infection caused by Helicobacter pylori including coronary heart disease. |
