Abstract Infantile diarrhea is one of the most prevalent and dangerous disease in our country. It is considered one of the causes that increase morbidity and mortality rates in infants and young childern. Nowadayas viral diarrhea has been considered one of the most common cause of acute and persistent diarrhea specially in developing countries. This study was carried on 40 cases with acute diarrhea (22 male and 18 female), 40 cases with persistent diarrhea (23 male and 17 femal) and 10 healty child, with matched age and sex as control group. Age, Sex, Season, type of feeding and clinical manifestations were recorded. |
