Study has great importance for the psychologists as
it is acomplementary pr.:>cessof learning as ’what happens
in the school.. StUdy habits play a great role in relation
to learning perception as one of the educational consequences
which teachers are generally and psychologists interested

is to help increase the level of Academic’ Achievement,
while the stuents’ adoption of undesirable, stUdy habit
may lead to the decrease of the standard of their learning
perception ..

/ 2- Studies which dealt with study habits and their relation
with some variables.
Method and Procedures:
1- Sample of the study:
It consisted of 131 of general secondary grade one
student. Seventy of them were males and sixty one were
females. They were divided into two groups (unvariable
and experimental).
2- TOols of the study:
a- .The meansurement of study habits and the attitudes
towards the study (by: Gaber Abd El-ijamid &. Soliman
El-Khodary).
b- High Intelligence test (by: Sayed Mohamed Xhayry).
e- Study Habits programme (by: The researcher).
3- Study procedures:
a- The researchist dtwided the atudy data into two g~oupe

c- The researchist applied the high intelligence test
to make sure of the correspondence of the subjects
of the data as for intelligence.
d- The subjects of the experimental group have been trained
on the programme of improving study habits.

e- The researchist made a post application of the measurement
of study habits on the sUbjects of the two group.
f- The researchist used the style of analysing the
variance and test to deal with the study items and
reach their consequences.
Study results and its discussion:
The study results pointed out the effectiveness of
the programme which was used for improving study habits,
where differences were found statistic~lly among the subjects
of the two groups in the post measurement in each dimension
of the measurement anel in the measurement as Ii whole. These
differences are for ~ good of the subjects ~f the e~rimental
group. The stl,dy result. have been discussed in
the light of the thearttical frame and previous researches •
