Abstract The study was carried out in Alexandria and Amriya as one of the reclaimed areas. The aim of this work was to study the ecology of the infertile couples attending infertility clinics in Alexandria and Amriya. This aim was achieved through the following inter mediate targets: 1. Identifying the infertile couple. 2. Investigating some ecological factors and their aftercoming effects on the problem. All infertile couples attending infertility clinics in El-Shatby hospital and Amriya hospital were included in this study on condition that they were married for 2” years or more. A control group was taken on the same conditions. Analysis of the collected data revealed the following results. Personal characteristics data: 1. Mean age for the infertile women was 27.02 years and for the control was 28.09 years. 2. Mean age at first marriage for the infertile females ~ was 19.27 years and for the fertile was 18.76 years. 3.
