Abstract
A survey of the literature concerning the different methods of approach concerning the study of the travelling wave tube is given the conditions of the synchronization of the backward-wave oscillator in travelling wave device are studied the conditions of oscillation and the behavior of the backward-wave oscillator under free runing conditIons are investigated an expression relating the dependence of the output power of the oscillator on the value of the beam current is obtained many analytical closed forms are obtained which are in line with the general behavior of a synchronized oscillator.
