Abstract n the present work the effect of some geometrical parameters such as the hot tube shape nozzle proportions cold-end orifice diameter vortex chamber profile and vortex tube configuratIon are tested under different operating conditions an analysis of the probable refrigerating cycles in which the vortex tubes could be one of their main components is made a hypothetical pattern for the flow inside the tube is proposed and a qualitative interpretation of the mechanism of energy separation is given. |
